Product Description
The Ahab ABS08, with a capacity of 200yds of 8lb monofilament fits into the IGFA 8lb class. It has a gear ratio of 5.2 to 1. All aluminum body and rotor, forged aluminum spool and a 5 bearing system. This reel has a machined stainless steel drive gear,pinion gear and center shaft. The ABS08, as well as the 3 other sizes of Ahab spinning reels, all boast the MegaDrag system that is unique to this series of Fin-Nor reels.
