Added ventilation to the spool and the frame keep the weight down, so these metal components don’t create a noticeable weight increase. Conical friction drag system with triple redundancy radial pawl. Delrin 500AF to anodized aluminum interface. Oil impregnated bronze bushing, rotating on a stainless steel spindle, quick-release locking spool, easy left-hand to right-hand retrieve conversion. Anodized surface for dependable hardness and consistent color. USA.
