Product Description
High Density Gearing (HDG) – Okuma’s proprietary HDF forged main gear has been engineered to be 50% stronger than standard gearing due to its unique alloy composition and density. Helical cut gears further enhanced the drive systems smoothness and efficiency, by improved gear meshing. HDF gears were specifically designed to withstand the brutal punishment that today’s super braids can place on a reels drive system.
