Energy PT Spinning reels were completely redisigned for 2009. The biggest improvement comes in the weight of the reel. The E10PTiB weighs only 8.7oz, and has a line capacity of 100 yards of 6lb. monofilament. The weight reduction comes in improvements to the reel body, the line management system and rotor design. Also improved from earlier generations is the TiMAG titanium bail with magnetic trip and LMS (Line Managagement System). The bail system continues to be guaranteed for the life of the reel. The Energy spinning reels contain 10 ultra-smooth, polymer stainless bearings and extra-hard Performance Tuned gears. This reel is finished off with a scratch resistant, titanium vacuum depostion finish and a light-weight machined aluminum crank handle.
